Important Forms and Information for MWPV Parents
Parent Handbook
The parent handbook is a guide for all parents pertaining to such issues as academic expectations, curriculum structure, discipline, and dress code, as well as basic policies and procedures of the Preschool, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School divisions. Parents are expected to familiarize themselves with school policies and to partner with the school in enforcing them with students. Download the Parent-Student Handbook, 2012!
Financial Aid
Parents can apply for financial aid and must do so each school year that they wish to qualify for assistance. The school works with a third party company, Private School Aid, to assess family need. To qualify for aid, parents must submit a financial aid application to PSA and supply the company supporting documentation. PSA supplies the school with an assessment report of the applicant's financial ability to fund the student's education. Once the school receives the report, a special financial aid committee meets to discuss applications, using a blind review approach so that each family's privacy is protected. The Business Office notifies families of financial aid awards, and families are then allowed to accept the offer or appeal the decision. Families typically do not receive in excess of 50 percent assistance.
Families should mail completed applications to Private School Aid Service; P.O. Box 770728; Lakewood, OH 44107-0034. Mailing envelopes are available in the Business Office.
