The seventh and eighth qualities of a Phoenix are:
Tolerance - The view that diversity is both acceptable and desirable.
Students who practice tolerance see the uniqueness of each individual with whom they interact and focus upon the strengths and qualities that have to do with the positive contributions each individual can make to the world. They do not stereotype.
Balance - Keeping life in perspective; taking the good with the bad; experiencing the richness of all of life has to offer.
Students practicing balance seek to make the best of all situations and embark on a journey to explore the knowledge and wisdom of academics, the pleasures and dedications of the arts and the challenges and triumphs of athletics.
